Once you have read the instructions below, click on the following image to start the online experiment:

 

 

Purpose of Experiment

 

  • How good are you at guessing angle size?
  • Do you make more errors when estimating larger angle size than smaller angle size?
  • Are females better than males at guessing angle size?

 

Instructions

 

You will need a Flash enabled browser to submit data for this experiment.

 

At the start you will need to enter your LEA and School codes (if you are unaware of these please use this link to contact us).

 

Once logged on with successful codes, choose the standard experiment and you will then be asked to enter your age, gender and, only if your teacher has given you one, a project code.

 

You will be asked to estimate one-at-a-time the size of 15 angles. The angles will be shown in red and may be draw in 3D or as flat circles. When you have completed the experiment you will be able to view a summary table of your results. Please click on 'submit' and then close the pop-up box after your data has been recorded.
