What are my LEA and School codes?
From nurseries through to colleges, each educational establishment across England and Wales has a set of codes to help give each a unique identity. The ExperimentsAtSchool website uses these codes to enable individual schools to retrieve data for their pupils.
These two codes can be obtained from www.edubase.gov.uk - use this link to search for your establishment and find the codes for your Local Authority (LEA code) and Establishment Number (School code).
You will be asked to enter these codes at the start of an experiment - these are used to obtain the school's name; the experiment will ask you to check that this is correct before you can continue. If your school name does not appear, or the codes are not recognised, please use this link to report the problem.
What if I do not have an LEA or School code?
If your school is outside of England and Wales, or the school is not recorded on the edubase database, we will create a code for your school. Please use this link to request a set of codes for your school.
